HEY,
I’m Jess.
How to Make Yourself is a living ecosystem I’m building in public, in real time. It isn’t a single product, a linear program, or a promise of outcomes.
It’s a developmental philosophy for modern public life, designed to help people navigate transformation, healing, identity, and expression, while learning how to build something meaningful from the process.
At the center of this work is The Way: a grounded orientation to life that prioritizes presence, discernment, self-trust, and becoming.
This work is based on two interconnected processes:
Transformation
Awareness → Healing → Becoming → Expression
Creation
Capture → Extract → Structure → Package → Distribute
The first supports the inner process of becoming who you are.
The second supports the outer process of turning what you’re living, learning, and creating into story, content, body of work, and contribution.
Together, these frameworks form the foundation of How to Make Yourself.
The tools, practices, workshops, systems, and resources that will eventually live here are being shaped from lived experience, tested in real life, and built to be reusable, portable, and self-led.
One offering that already exists inside this ecosystem is Get Unstuck, a trauma-informed methodology designed to help people move out of survival mode and reconnect with authorship over their lives.
I’m currently applying and documenting this work publicly through Project: Making JGB, an ongoing experiment in proving the process through real-time storytelling, content, and creative expression.
This ecosystem will continue to evolve over time.
If you want to walk the path alongside me as it unfolds, you can follow the process through MakingJGB.com and future community spaces as new pieces emerge.
